1. Tell us about your role in security management at Gough & Kelly, and the part you play
In my position as security and site manager, I am responsible for reporting any incidents, maintaining access and traffic control, delivering exceptional customer service to visitors, granting authorised personnel access, responding to alarms, checking for security breaches, and generally ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and operational.
2. What’s been a key highlight for your organisation, to get to where you are now?
We were delighted to extend our National Security Inspectorate (NSI) accreditation, with the Silver Certificate of Approval for specialist services, which covers the provision of labour in the security and events sector. This latest seal of approval enhances our already extensive NSI credentials across the fire and security sectors. Plus, following our annual Security Industry Authority (SIA) inspection, we maintained our position as a ‘Pacesetter’, placing us among the top 5% security companies in the UK.
