BLOG: Summer Showcase – Ideas From Those We Work With for Enjoying A Day Out Locally…

by Julia Ford

This time last year we went a little off-topic from our usual property related blog posts and treated you to an insight into how some of our industry contacts like to spend their summers, so we thought we would stick with the seasonal summer theme for this year too, in the hope that it may coax out some warm, sunny weather, of which we haven’t seen much of up North so far this year!

Here at Towngate we feel privileged to boast a portfolio of properties situated within the most accessible of locations, along with some fantastic tenants, many of whom have been in occupation for a number of years. We are also proud to support some wonderful charities, both local to our head quarters in Brighouse and some a little further afield. In this month’s blog we want to showcase events some of our tenants and charity partners are holding to keep young and old alike entertained during the summer.

Fancy yourself as an Olympian?! Our fantastic tenants: LS-Ten Skate Park and City Bloc Climbing, both based at our Airedale site, Hunslet, Leeds, and our Benyon Park tenant, off Gelderd Road, Leeds; Jump Inc, have plenty to offer!

CITY BLOC

In celebration of Hamish and Molly, the centre is also holding a festival on Saturday 10th August, with free climbing for everyone. There will also be live music, food stalls, free climbing coaching and a viewing of the Olympics.
