Julia Ford, Marketing Manager and Lucy Rotchell, PA at Towngate recently paid a visit to tenant Mey-Tech to meet Production Manager, Scott Brown. The company have occupied our 45,000 sq ft facility at Armytage House, Armytage Road, Brighouse for the past 7 years and Scott informed us that the unit works extremely well for them and their needs as a business and their relationship with Towngate is something they hold in high regard.

Founded in 1999, Mey-Tech is a distinguished name within contract laminating, producing products for the automotive, cosmetic, medical and textiles industries, to name a few. As well as providing a wide range of products, they also offer assistance to clients with research and development of new products.

The company boasts research & development specialists who are trained and have access to the latest technology. Being a family run, independent business, they pride themselves on delivering a real hands-on approach of the best service and quality. The company ethos is ‘exceeding client expectations’ – something the hard-working staff, all of whom have years of knowledge and experience in commercial lamination – are committed to.

Their impact on the environment is something Mey-Tech take very seriously. The nature of what they do means full compliance and sometimes exceedance with regards to environmental legislation. Some of the ways the company are helping to create a greener future include: –

  • Frequent evaluation of the heating, lighting, and recycling
  • Organised deliveries to make the best use of fuel and time

Scott showed us around the warehouse where the skilled staff were hard at work and gave us an overview of the industries they supply to and the products they produce. After the economic turbulence of the last few years, it was encouraging to hear positive news and see that the company is doing well.
