Towngate Secures Five-Year Lease of Industrial Property to Facilitate the Expansion of Lokring Into Leeds, West Yorkshire

Industrial landlord Towngate PLC has welcomed household name in the process industry, Lokring UK, to its growing client portfolio, with the signing of a five-year tenancy contract for 3,900 sq ft Unit C3 at Copley Hill Trading Estate in Leeds.

 

Founded over thirty years ago and operating in 30 countries worldwide, the Ohio-headquartered company offers an extensive range of design-patented weld equivalent pipe and tube fittings, including couplings, flanges, elbows, adapters. Dedicated to understanding and resolving the process industry’s fluid and gas connection requirements while minimising cost, time, and health and safety risk, the firm uses state of the art computer-aided technology to design and produce the most advanced transfer connectors on the market today.

The team has now expanded in Leeds, taking occupation of the 3,900 sqft unit on Whitehall Road. At its new modern premises, Lokring will benefit from a spacious warehouse unit within the established and popular Copley Hill Trading Estate. The unit benefits from modern ancillary offices, access via a single ground level door, yard and loading area, along with generous parking. The site also has the advantage of security fencing, barrier entry, and CCTV.

 

Speaking on the move, Lokring’s office manager, Zak O’Neill said: “This strategic move to Towngate’s Copley Hill site has come at the perfect time for us as a business — ensuring continuity and stability for Lokring UK and allowing us to continue delivering high-quality products and services to our valued customers. We look forward to further growth and success in our new location.”

 

Copley Hill Trading Estate is strategically located only 1.5 miles from Leeds City Centre, and 1.5 miles from Junction 1 of the M621 Motorway and the Leeds Outer Ring Road (A6110). The estate is accessed from Whitehall Road (A58), which leads directly onto Gelderd Road (A62) and the Leeds Outer Ring Road (A6110).

 

Lokring UK joins fellow occupants Crown Decorating Centre, Howdens, Carpetright, Lincs Electrical Wholesalers Ltd (LEW), BAPP Industrial Suppliers Limited, Wolseley UK, The BSS Group Ltd, and Nicholls & Clarke Ltd.

Lokring’s occupancy announcement comes at a busy time for Towngate. The property specialist is in the midst of a £6 million development of a state-of-the-art business centre in Manchester — due for completion in summer, and welcomed a series of new tenants to existing properties across the North of England.
